Create a ticket for an issue in JIRA.

JIRA is an issue tracking system built by the friendly folks at Atlassian.

Setup instructions
  1. In Atatus, Navigate to project Settings -> Ticketing Integrations -> JIRA.

  2. Enter the URL of your JIRA account, e.g. https://myaccount.atlassian.net
  3. Enter your username and password in the respective text box.
  4. Copy-paste the Project Key from your JIRA project edit page into the textbox. e.g. https://myaccount.atlassian.net/secure/project/ViewProjects.jspa - Find your project and you will see the Key listed.
  5. Enter the issue type. It can be either Task, Bug, Improvement, Epic or New Feature. By default, the issue type is Task.
  6. Press the Save button when you're done.
How to use

After you set up the integration, you'll notice a JIRA button below the error message in the Error page. This will allow you to create a new issue for the error, or link with an existing one.

Once the issue is created or linked, you will see the link in the button dropdown. To jump to the issue in JIRA simply click the link created.
