Introducing S3 Log Archives in Atatus

Log Archives in Atatus let you store all of your ingested logs in long-term, cost-efficient storage solutions like AWS S3. While Atatus is optimized for real-time log analysis, monitoring, and alerting, not every log needs to be kept in the system for instant access all the time.

With Log Archives, you can choose to store all logs in your cloud storage, or apply filters to archive only the logs you care about. The selected logs are automatically stored in your cloud archive and remain available whenever you need them—for compliance, cost efficiency, or future investigations.

With Log Archives, you can:

• Centralize storage: Automatically export logs from Atatus to your own cloud storage.
• Stay compliant: Retain logs for months or years to meet regulatory or business requirements.
• Save costs: Keep only the most valuable logs indexed in Atatus, while archiving everything else.
• Retrieve logs on demand: Bring archived logs back into Atatus for investigations or audits whenever needed.
